Kayla Dewey
My name is Kayla Dewey, I have shown with RHAM for quite a few years. I have served on the board for 2 terms and have been the treasurer for most of that time. I have also been active on a couple of the committees including our sponsorship and awards committee. I would like to continue serving and bringing more ideas to RHAM to keep making our association flourish for upcoming years!
Brenda McCartney
Hi there. My name is Brenda McCartney and I have been with RHAM for several year in many aspects of the organization. I have also been a member of several other charters and enjoy what each has to offer. At this time I am currently the RHAM secretary and active in many parts of the board. I would love to continue to be part of the Michigan RHAM team and help members to continue building this club into the best it can be for the membership. Thank you. Brenda McCartney.
Julie Meyers
Hi, my name is Julie Meyers. My husband Rick is a novice rider at RHAM. We have been involved with RHAM for six years, minus one year out for Covid.
I grew up on a dairy farm and met Rick, the milk hauler, who I have been married to for 47 years. He is the one who introduced me to horses, best thing ever!
I am a clinical pharmacy technician for the VA specializing in blood disorders. After twenty years I am looking forward to retiring next year!
I love the family atmosphere at the RHAM shows and would like to help the group continue to build for years to come! I enjoy every weekend we are there and would like to help others to enjoy it just as much or more!
Jennifer Miklic
Greetings! My name is Jennifer Miklic and I have been a RHAM member for 2 years now. For my “professional” job I work for a statistical software company for almost 10 years now. I started as a programmer and now act as a Technical Project Manager. I have been in the software industry for over 30 years. My husband (Jason) and I own a landscaping company and I do all the back end business stuff for it as well.
As for my hobbies, I love anything outdoors! I also love cows, and about 5 years ago I bought and raised my first cow (Stormie) who has since birthed a few more. I think I have the tamest cows around. LOL. I also started riding 5 years ago and realized you are NEVER too old to try something new. Tequila (my horse) was my lesson horse. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to own her so I jumped on that opportunity. I love this cowgirl thing and love this community. I would like to serve and giveback to this group that has given me so much.
Maribeth Peppler
Maribeth Peppler has been a RHAM member since 2020 and has shown ARHA at the Indiana, Wisconsin, and Ohio charters as well. She operates a small ranch horse training and coaching facility in northeast Indiana where she also coaches middle school and high school IEA teams. In her college career she was on the Purdue Fort Wayne Intercollegiate Hunt Seat Team and the South Dakota State University Rodeo team, and later held the title of Miss Rodeo Indiana in 2016 advocating for the PRCA and the western way of life. She has served on a couple of boards for non-profits and has organized a large number of equine events. She looks forward to the growth of the ranch horse industry, especially within RHAM, and hopes to help in any capacity needed.
